W.O.W. thats right. What a GREAT bunko night we had!! We started off the night with a baby shower for amy, who is due in 4 weeks with a little boy! But.....this was NO ordinary baby shower. You see, we had a plan. :) And it was a good one. Amy happens to HATE anything cheesy or with winnie the pooh on it, or any kind of stupid character. So, we decided to throw her a gag baby gift shower. We all went and bought the ugliest, cheesiest things we could find. Stuff from the dollar store, stuff with a HUGE winnie the pooh on it. So amy sat down to open all her gifts, and she had no idea what was in store for her. None of us could make eye contact because we knew we would burst out in laughter. Jamie had to leave the room at one point because she was laughing so hard. Poor, poor amy. She proceeded to open up the sorriest lot of gifts possible. A diaper bag with sesame street characters on it. A cheap ugly bib and winnie the pooh socks from the dollar store. A sweat outfit with pooh bear all over it. Cheap little ugly tank tops and cotton shorts from the dollar store. A onesie with yellow ducks on it. It just got worse and worse. And with each gift you could just see amy wilting, while trying so hard to be so nice and compliment all the gifts. Finally she just stopped saying anything. She opened up the last gift and we all just sat there, and then we burst into laughter! Jamie asked her if she wanted her REAL gifts now! Amy was totally confused, but joined in the laughter when we told her what we had done. Sorry amy, you were a great sport and it was the best laugh I've had in a long time! Then we had her open her REAL gifts and of course it was all super cute!!!
Jamie hosted bunko this month and did the funnest theme: Jamies favorite things. And lucky girl won her own bunko! A gift certificate to Carrabbas and movie tickets makes a date night with your hubby. Definitely a favorite of all of us!!
Tessa subbed for us, I wish she would join our group permanately, she was so much fun! She won high score with a gift certificate to jamies favorite place to shop, Charlotte Russe!
Robyn won medium prize, this cutest home decor from Jamies favorite home decor store, Rod Works. Love, love, love it.
I got lowest score, I had 14 freakin zeros!! But, I won MY favorite thing: SHOES!!!!!! It was like a match made in heaven. :)
Janalee won hostess square with another favorite, COMFIES!! So super adorable.
Laura won most 0's with a gift certificate to where? Target of course!!! Another favorite!
Here is our newest memeber Cammi! ( she took the other camies spot, we will miss her!) She won most 5's with a favorite makeup, MAC eyeshadow! Once you go MAC you never go back. :)
All of our "losers" got a different prize. So much fun stuff to choose from.
Robyn won bonus prize of a scentsy car clip. yummy.
As soon as bunko was over, I was like, its already over??? It comes soooo slow and then goes by SO fast!! See you next month!
